Just because… she deserves her own appreciation post. 🤍

This beautiful soul is my best friend, my daughter, my greatest adventure, and without a doubt, the love of my life.

She knows me better than anyone. She has seen every side of me, celebrated my happiest moments, carried me through my hardest ones, and somehow always knows exactly what I need.

I respect her. I admire her. I laugh with her, I talk to her, and I genuinely love this life we get to share together.

People say they’re “just dogs.”

They’re wrong.

She is family. She is home. She is my peace, my happiness, and one of the greatest blessings in my life.

I hope everyone gets to experience a love this pure at least once.

After more than a year of planning, designing, problem-solving, and watching every detail come together, seeing this aviary complete is incredibly rewarding.

Warrior Hearts Animal Rescue had the privilege of helping bring this vision to life, and we’re so proud of what it has become. Creating a safe, enriching, and beautiful environment for these incredible birds has been a journey worth every step.

Sometimes the greatest reward isn’t recognition it’s knowing you helped create something that will make a difference for years to come.

Do you all remember this handsome boy… the beautiful baby who was just hours away from euthanasia? 💔

Well… we have incredible news.

The little guy we named Brad Pitt has officially been adopted 🕊️💚
And it gets even better…

He instantly bonded with one of our rescues his perfect match Angelina. Yes… Brad Pitt & Angelina 🥹✨

Together, they’ve found their forever home, side by side, exactly how it was meant to be.

Moments like this remind us why we fight so hard.

But let’s talk about something important birds are so often overlooked. They are not “easy” pets. They are intelligent, emotional, deeply bonded companions who require time, patience, stimulation, and real commitment. They feel love. They feel loneliness. They deserve forever, just like any dog or cat.

Brad Pitt almost didn’t get that chance… but now he has everything.

Behind the scenes we’ve been answering rescue calls, caring for animals, building shelters, coordinating help, and doing everything we can for the ones who have no one else. When you’re a very small rescue, there’s no big staff — just a few warriors doing everything with heart.

And trust us… we have a LOT to catch you up on. 🐾

As we continue to grow, we are always looking for volunteers who want to be part of this mission. Whether it’s helping with animals, transport, building projects, social media, fundraising, or lending a hand where needed most — every warrior makes a difference.

Yesterday, WHAR stepped in just in time.

This little soul was sitting in a shelter with a deadline a beautiful bird who was scheduled to be euthanized simply because there was nowhere else for him to go. We couldn’t let that be his ending.

He is stunning. And even more heartbreaking… you can tell he belonged to a flock or had a mate. When he hears other birds, he calls out searching, hoping, remembering. 💔
It’s a sound you don’t forget.

Right now, he’s safe. He’s decompressing with us, learning that he’s no longer disposable, no longer alone. We’ll give him the time, quiet, and care he needs to heal and we’ll let you know when he’s ready for adoption.

This is why we do what we do.
This is WHAR.

He’s healing beautifully, strutting around like the warrior he is, and reminding us all that resilience comes in small, furry packages with big personalities.

Can you believe it took 11 months to finally earn Scarlett’s trust? For so long, no one could even get near her let alone touch her. Today… she lets me hug her, kiss her, and love on her. ❤️

This is what consistency, patience, gentleness, and love can do. ✨ Trust isn’t forced it’s earned. And this applies to every single soul in life.

Scarlett was never “aggressive.”
She was terrified… misjudged… simply protecting herself.
Now, we get to see who she truly is sweet, affectionate, and craving connection. She just wanted to feel safe. She just wanted to be loved. 🤍

Watching her transform into the bird she was always meant to be is one of the greatest gifts. Scarlett, you are AMAZING. 💪🦜💖
